The BIBLE Tells us GOD Inhabits the Praises of His People.1
Inhabits! When we Praise GOD, He Is Present. Sure, He Tells us He never Leaves or Forsakes us, and that Is True! Every honest person who has walked through valleys of lack, betrayal, inability, struggle, loss, illness, and the like will tell you whether immediately or years later this Truth: “Through it all, Jesus Was with me.”
Then, what is different about His Inhabiting our Praises?
Have you ever tried to Praise GOD? Have you turned your whole concentration into Praising Him?
If you have, you know that no matter what valley you may be struggling through, you cannot remain sad, lonely, or despondent when you truly Praise GOD with all your being!
Try it! Start by thanking Him for what you have, what you don’t have, where you are, and where you are going. Thank Him for your work, your rest, your friends, your family, your home, your food, and your body. You can even venture to obey Him by “counting everything JOY.” Decide to thank Him for what you lack, for what worries you, for losses, for struggles, and for illness and pain.
Give it a try! Thank Him for your illness now and for the treatment you are receiving as you thank Him for His Sure Healing of you! Even if you have been told there is no cure for your suffering or no end aside from death, thank Him. Tell GOD you know and you believe that, whatever others may tell you, whatever you may experience, He Promises to Heal you, and You Believe.
What you cannot help but discover is the JOY of Praise Fills you, whether you praise GOD for Your Wonderful Life, rich gifts, and marvelous friends, or you Praise Him for your struggles, your pain, your losses, or your decline. In the midst of Praising GOD and Thanking Jesus for Your Salvation, you find such Joy and Peace that your Faith, Your Hope, and Your Enthusiasm increases.
Try singing to Him that New Song He Desires of you!
Try shuffling your feet in Dances of Praise!
Raising your arms and hands toward Heavens to wave thanks to GOD.
Wave your thanks and sing your Love to God. Soon you will be joined into His Heavenly Host to experience such Love that you cannot help boast that you are His Beloved!
Does His Inhabiting our praise mean He Hears and Sees us? Yes!
Will He Infuse the Love, Joy, and Peace of Himself into our situation? Yes!
