O Precious Lord,
When we love our neighbor about as much as we don’t love ourselves, You Love us!
Even when we don’t notice You Seeing us, still You See each of us.
When we don’t notice You Waiting for us, You Wait for close relationship with each of us.
When we sin with excuses, yet, Your Mercy toward any one of us Is Enough to Forgive and Forget when finally we repent.
Thank You for Your Eternal Love, Your Patience, and Your Everlasting Mercy!
O GOD, when we dare to stand against that enemy, please Hear and Answer our cries, just as You Blessed David the Shepherd by the destruction of the Philistines in I SAMUEL 17.1
If we be only a remnant, Let our cries be Heard.
If we be as small as David the Shepherd, alone among Your People to Stand up in Your Name, please Release Your Strength.
If we be but foolish and weak, Stand in the gap to Awaken us To Trust Anew and Believe You Still Hold Your Truths to Be Evident.
Praise Your Mercy and Your Grace.
Praise Your Dwelling with those who seek Your Face.
Praise Your Prayers for us to pray and for Your Answers to those we say.
Praise Your Omniscience, Your Omnipresence, and Your Omnipotence.
Hallelujah, Precious Savior!
In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
- (WEB) I SAMUEL 17: 45 Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin; but I come to you In the Name of Yahweh of Armies, The GOD of the armies of Israel, Whom you have defied. 46 Today, Yahweh Will Deliver you into my hand. I will strike you and take your head from off you. I will give the dead bodies of the army of the Philistines today to the birds of the sky and to the wild animals of the earth, that all the earth may know that there Is a GOD in Israel, 47 and that all this assembly may know that Yahweh Doesn’t Save with sword and spear; for the battle Is Yahweh’s, and He Will Give you into our hand.” ↩︎
